Our History Art Contest

2009 OUR HISTORY ART CONTEST
FINALISTS ANNOUNCED

Congratulations to our 2009 finalists.  On Tuesday, December 16, Cox was honored to have 15 judges consisting of representatives of area colleges and universities, sponsors, and community leaders participate in our annual contest judging.  This is never an easy task and each piece of art was judged individually on four critera:  quality of line or paint application, completeness of composition, expression of art work and originality/creativity.

Below please find the finalists selected in this year's Cox Our History Art Contest.  In early January, each finalist will receive a letter informing them of their selection as a finalist plus details and tickets for the mid-January awards program.  A Cox representative will also be contacting each finalist in the coming weeks to acquire further information and answer any potential questions.

For those not selected, we want you to know the judges were impressed with each entry in this year's contest.  We encourage you to continue to pursue and enhance your artistic talents.  We look forward to your participation in future contests.  You will be receiving a letter from Cox informing you of when and where to pick-up your artwork in the month January.

Congratulations again to the finalists.
