Annually Cox Communications and the Jefferson Chamber sponsor the Excellence in Education Awards. The program recognizes the top principals, teachers and students in Jefferson Parish. For Cox and the Jefferson Chamber, it is important to the business community that the educational system is effective in producing graduates who have the skills necessary to meet the demand of area employers.
